Yes, “The Boss” will be the 2012 SXSW keynote! The South By Southwest Music and Media Conference and Festival has announced Bruce Springsteen as keynote speaker for the 2012 event. The keynote will take place on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Austin Convention Center, the hub of SXSW Music events.

With FFF 6 just around the corner (November 4,5,6) the festival organizers are releasing a FFF6 iOS App sure to make your FFF Fest an even cooler and memorable experience. Festival goers can download the app to get a complete band listing for the fest, after shows and are able to filter by day, stage, and time. Fest maps with directions to mechanical bulls, wrestling rings, comedy tents, food, first-aid, and rock and roll will also be available. Perhaps the coolest feature of the FFF6 iOS App is the “Custom Taco Locator” – only one of its kind in the festival space.
