QUICK BIO

In his light-heavyweight raspy voice The Gooch flawlessly rhymes over beats that make you bob your head. Whether solo or in stunning compilations his bars deliver like power punches. The Gooch is a West Coast native from the 1100 block of east Oakland that transplanted to the Rose City-- Tyler,Texas. His lyrics hit home with tales of drama, dope dealing, blacks hating blacks, and a game you can't explain. This underground killer gets dirty deep in the south with Bay Area game and country slang in his mouth. When a wise man asked "what will the music industry see in you Gooch"? He replied "in order to see me the world is gonna have to open its eyes, but don't worry those grills gonna get beat up in a second". A founding member of The Hardhitters The Gooch gave the world the anthems "Stop Muggin Me" and "Shed Light". He provided a hard edgy sound to compliment D-Jack on "A Soldiers Mind" and "The New KraKKK".
The Gooch was featured
on CEA's "A Shot in the Dark" ,on Jace's newest cd, and also with the Small Time Hustlers. Last but not least the Gooch is showcased on J-Sin of Triple Crown's "A Lone Star State of Mind" of which the song "Hit the Deck" got radio play. His wide influence is only matched by his versatility as an artist. The Gooch's new Mixtape "Oakland is Life, Texas is Roots" is a combination of love for the streets and for ni**as that ride despite the hating that swallows the city and the paper that could be made. The 14 tracks on the Mix CD demonstrate his ability to move with the big dogs and take their place.
