Bocastria, exploded onto the music scene in 2006, redefining Latin Rock by fusing Tejano, Latin, Rock, and Pop music. The band represents the voice of Tejanos today. Its debut release, “Enter the groove,” recorded by Grammy Nominee, Jonny Martinez, (son of Tejano Music Hall of Famer, Anselmo Martinez) proves it is the band to watch in 2007. In the short time the band has been playing live, less than a year, Bocastria continues to build momentum. In 2006, the band played at Alegria Music Festival with Tejano stars Michael Salgado and Shelly Lares in San Antonio, Texas, and it headlined at the Light Bar in Austin, Texas, voted one of the top 10 bars in the nation by InStyle magazine. Bocastria was also invited to one of the biggest events for Tejano artists, The Tejano Vegas Showcase in Las Vegas, Nevada.
