Since forming in late 2008 Giggle Party has captured the attention of the Dallas music scene with their frantic live shows and catchy party punk. Giggle party has recently been recognized by being nominated for the "Best New Act" and the "Next Big Thing" awards by the Dallas Observer and Dallas Quick newspapers.

Giggle Party is a four-piece party punk band that has been compared to Matt & Kim, Ok Go!, Girl Talk, Los Compinsinos, and Modest Mouse. Giggle Party brings the atmosphere of a dance party to any show they play by mixing their own songs with "gigglefied" versions of classic pop songs.

In early 2009 Giggle Party recorded and produced The Holes In Your Face Are Pleasing which mixes electronic drum beats with catchy group vocals. The band self produced their own music video for the albums single "Jason Bought A Hatchet" which has been been mentioned on countless music and design blogs.

Giggle Party is hard at work on a double EP which will feature a more mature sound from the Dallas quartet who are also in pre-production for their next video for The Holes In Your Face Are Pleasing's second single "Easter Tree" with Anthony Garth whose credits include; The White Stripes, Electric Six, and The Detroit Cobra.

With a multitude of shows from diy spaces to full service venues, Giggle Party has been able to open up for notable acts such as Matt and Kim, MAN MAN and up & comers Ear PWR, Math The Band, John Barret's Bass Drum Of Death, and The Happy Bullets.
