It's all about the music for us. Based out of Austin, TX, the self proclaimed "Live Music Capital of the World", our team are huge music fans with extensive music collections. We love going to shows and hearing about great new bands. There are so many recording artists putting out awesome music, we've created DoubleStereo to serve it up to you.

Since we started as a retail and promotion site, we figured, why not have cool exclusive interviews or news about a band that may be on our site anyway? How DoubleStereo Started
The foundation of DoubleStereo goes back to 2003, when founding members Erik Schaeffer and Sal Silva III launched the online music and merchandise fulfillment company cdFuse.com. Both musicians, they enjoyed regional success and had a mutual concept for a new system of music and merchandise fulfillment.
cdFuse began as an online distribution service for independent musicians. As the digital music industry exploded, Silva and Schaeffer merged cdFuse with DoubleStereo in March 2009 to create a free digital platform and order fulfillment service for artists. Today, DoubleStereo hosts over two-thousand artists representing over forty countries.
