  1. What is DoubleStereo.com?

    A site built to empower independent artists and labels with various online services while simultaneously creating an online music store and entertainment destination. Everyone can preview music,buy digital downloads, download free mp3's, watch video, write comments, review albums and most importantly support the independent music industry by buying from DoubleStereo.com.

  2. Is DoubleStereo.com free?

    Yes! Both listeners and artists can join CDfuse for free. Sign up!

  3. Why should I sign up for a listener account?

    First, a listener account is FREE. Second, you will have access to FREE downloads that are iPod and MP3 player friendly. Third, you'll get access to discounts and specials from our features on emerging artists. Most importantly it shows your taste in indie music is awesome.

  4. How do I sign up for a listener account?

    Go to the "Join" page or just click here to sign up!

  5. What can I expect to see and hear on DoubleStereo.com?

    Independent music and video from all different genres. Bands all over the world submit their music, merchandise and video so we recommend you check it all out! There is a great mix of stuff here on our site.

  6. How do I search for music or bands that I like?

    Go to our search page and type in any key word... Bands you like, cities, genres or anything. You can also go to our browse section and check it out.

  7. Can I listen to the artist's music before I buy it?

    Yes, you can! In fact we recommend that you listen and check out all the music we have to offer.

  8. Can I download free music on Cdfuse.com?

    Yes, there are many artists and labels that post free tracks for you to download.

  9. Can I play the downloads on my iPod?

    Yes, all audio files from CDfuse are in mp3 format, which means you can play them on your computer and virtually all personal media players.

  10. Why should I buy music or merchandise from DoubleStereo.com?

    When you buy DoubleStereo.com, you are directly supporting the artists and bands.

  11. How many different types of music are on the site?

    Many different types... Rock, pop, rap, country, hip-hop... jeez, there are many different sounds on our site.

  12. How do I change my password and login information?

    Once you Login, click on "Edit User Information" to change the email address associated with your account, or use the "Change Your Password" feature to change your current password.

  13. I forgot my password! How do I get my password back!?

    Go to the Login page and click on the "Help! I forgot my password!" link. After filling out the form there, your password will be reset and sent to you via the e-mail addresss you used when signing up.

    Yup! Join to get a free artist profile or sign up for one of our awesome artist packages to start selling and promoting your music online!

  3. How does DoubleStereo.com work for me (my band)?

    Other than being a promotion site and marketing tool, we take care of all your order fulfillment needs and customers while you can concentrate on your music.

  4. What services does Cdfuse.com offer for my label or band?

    Digital distribution, customizable storefronts with sales and location tracking, order fulfillment, onsite promotion and marketing and much more. Check out our services page for the run down.

  5. I want to sell my music and merchandise. How do I get started?

    Go to our services page and select the artist package that fits best for you. Sign up and you are on your way to selling and promoting your music with us.

  6. I want to upgrade my artist/band account. How do I do it?

    You must sign up first. Login and select the "Add Merch" button. Follow the steps and you're in.

  7. How do I start promoting my music and merch on Cdfuse.com?

    ALL artists on CDfuse can start promoting in our prime site spots, just login to your account and select Buy Band Promotion.

  8. How can I (my band) get featured on the home page?

    Easy... Login to your account and click Get Band Promotion.

  9. If I sell my cd and merch with DoubleStereo.com, can I sell it in other online stores?

    Yes. We are a non-exclusive service provider. Although we would love if you use our services. We do give you the best deal around.

  10. What is the consignment rate for selling my stuff on DoubleStereo.com?

    All digital tracks are set to be sold for $0.99. You retain 100% of each digital track sale after our $0.39 transaction fee. If you are selling physical albums and or merchandise, we retain only $3.50 per item.

  11. What's up with the transaction fee?

    We've got to cover our credit card and merchant fees for processing the order as well as the space and bandwidth it takes to store your tracks on our servers.

  12. Can I sell mp3s on DoubleStereo.com?

    Yes you can. You can also sell your physical CD's and merchandise. Check out our services page for more info.

  13. Can I upload our music video?

    As of right now, you can embed any video of yours that you have on YouTube.

  14. I forgot my password and login! How do I get it back!?

    Just go to the login section, enter in your email and click "Help! I forgot my password!" A new password will be sent to your email address.

  15. How do I change my password and login information?

    Once you Login, click on "Edit User Information" to change the email address associated with your account, or use the "Change Your Password" feature to change your current password.

  16. How do I update my band or artist page?

    Just login to your account with your email address and password. Click on "Manage Your Band Name"

  17. Where are your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy?

Customer/Ordering Help

  1. I bought a CD/merchandise. How fast does DoubleStereo.com ship orders?

    Orders are shipped out within 24-48 hrs by US Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail. local postal systems. If your order falls on a holiday, we will ship the following business day.

  2. How long does it take to get my order?

    Shipping time depends on your location in the world:

    USA: 2 - 4 business days
    Canada and Mexico: 4 - 10 business days.
    International Orders: 5 - 15 business days (or longer depending on customs)

  3. Does DoubleStereo.com process international orders?

    Yes! International (overseas) orders are shipped First Class International Air Mail. The delivery of your order depends on the availability of the product.

  4. What types of payment are accepted on DoubleStereo.com?

    We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

  5. Is my credit card information safe?

    Yes! All Credit Card transactions are secured using SSL 128bit encryption, the industry standard for payment processing. All transactions of currency are paid in U.S. dollars. International currencies are converted to U.S. Dollars. Please feel free to read our privacy policy or help page for any questions.

  6. What are the shipping charges on items I am purchasing?

    The cost of shipping depends on your location in the world and the amount (in dollars) of the items you order.

  7. Do I pay tax on items I am buying?

    Only customers or clients that reside in the state of Texas must pay 8.25% sales tax (automatically included in purchases). Customers are not subject to any sales tax on items or services outside the state of Texas. All currencies are paid in U.S. Dollars.

  8. What about Cancellations, Returns and Refunds?

    Please email info@doublestereo.com within 24 hours from your time of order to place a cancellation. Please include your name and order ID number. Act quickly for cancelled orders. For orders sent in error, DoubleStereo.com will refund your money in the full amount or correct the order and send it to you at no charge. However, once CD's have been opened or merchandise is used, we cannot accept any returns or exchanges. We are not responsible for paying postage for any packages sent back for return. Contact our customer service department, info@doublestereo.com for any questions.

Helpful Tips When Ordering

  1. For shipping out your order

    Please make sure your billing address matches the address that appears on your monthly credit card or bank statement. Be sure to check your statement for accuracy.

    Enter the correct information in the appropriate fields. Leave fields blank if they don't apply to your shipping or billing address. Do not enter "N/A," "Not applicable," "None," "Same," etc.

    Avoid using accent marks or non-english characters. Our systems cannot process Cyrillic letters, Chinese characters, etc.

    Do not enter shipping or delivery instructions in any of the address fields.

  2. Unauthorized Charges

    Unless you notify DoubleStereo.com of any discrepancies within thirty (30) days after they first appear on your credit card statement, you agree that they will be deemed accepted by you for all purposes.
