  1. What is Double Stereo?

    Double Stereo is a music platform and social media portal that features music from record labels and independent artists. There are so many recording artists putting out notable music, we've created Double Stereo to serve it up to you.

  2. Is Double Stereo free?

    Yes. Music fans like yourself sign up free to our community to discover new tracks from emerging artists, download free mp3's, shop, and share comments on music, and events through sites like Facebook.

  3. How do I sign up for a listener account?

    Go to the "Join" page or just click here to sign up.. Its Free. If you have a Facebook account, you can connect to our site here.

  4. What is the Facebook connect feature at the top of the website?

    If you have a Facebook account, click our Facebook connect button located at the top of our website. It connects Double Stereo with Facebook to interact with your friends on this site and to share stories on Facebook through your Wall and friends' News Feeds. Double Stereo will also be able to automatically post one-line stories back to Facebook.

  5. What can I expect to see and hear on Double Stereo?

    Music from record labels and independent artists. There are free tracks as well as singles, albums and merchandise that you can purchase. Bands from all over the world submit their music, so we recommend you check it all out. There is a great mix of stuff on our site.

  6. Can I download free music on Double Stereo?

    Yes, there are many artists and labels that feature free tracks for you to download.

  7. How do I search for music or bands that I like?

    You'll find the search box on the top of our site. Type in any key word... Bands you like, cities, genres or anything. You can also browse the Tags section to find things that you like.

  8. Can I listen to the artist's music before I buy it?

    Yes. There are full streaming and sample tracks provided by artists. In fact, we recommend that you listen and check out all the music we have to offer. You will find new favorites.

  9. Will the music I download on Double Stereo work on my iPod, MP3 Plater, laptop, etc?

    Yes. All the music on Double Stereo is in DRM-free MP3 format and will work on any personal computer or portable digital music player.

  10. How do I change my password and login information?

    Once you Login, click on "Your Information" to change the email address associated with your account, or use the "Change Password" feature to change your current password.

  11. I forgot my password! How do I get my password back?

    Go to the Login page and click on the "Help! I forgot my password!" link. After filling out the form there, your password will be reset and sent to you via the e-mail address you used when signing up.

  12. Do I need an account to download music from your site?

    No, but we require that you create a account to access other features of our site, including posting comments, adding tags, and reviewing items.

  1. I downloaded an album or single and cannot find it. What do i do?

    Usually, this means that instead of saving a track, you opened it directly with iTunes or some other music player. Try right-clicking on the links and selecting 'Save Target As...' or 'Save Link As...' to be sure you are saving the MP3 to your computer.

  2. I bought a CD/merchandise. How fast does Double Stereo ship orders?

    Orders are shipped out within 24-48 hrs by US Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail. local postal systems. If your order falls on a holiday, we will ship the following business day.

  3. How long does it take to get my order?

    Shipping time depends on your location in the world:

    USA: 2 - 4 business days
    Canada and Mexico: 4 - 10 business days.
    International Orders: 5 - 15 business days (or longer depending on customs)

  4. Does Double Stereo process international orders?

    Yes! International (overseas) orders are shipped First Class International Air Mail. The delivery of your order depends on the availability of the product.

  5. What types of payment are accepted on Double Stereo?

    We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

  6. Is my credit card information safe?

    Yes! All Credit Card transactions are secured using SSL 128bit encryption, the industry standard for payment processing. All transactions of currency are paid in U.S. dollars. International currencies are converted to U.S. Dollars. Please feel free to read our privacy policy or help page for any questions.

  7. What are the shipping charges on items I am purchasing?

    The cost of shipping depends on your location in the world and the amount (in dollars) of the items you order.

  8. Do I pay tax on items I am buying?

    Only customers or clients that reside in the state of Texas must pay 8.25% sales tax (automatically included in purchases). Customers are not subject to any sales tax on items or services outside the state of Texas. All currencies are paid in U.S. Dollars.

  9. What about Cancellations, Returns and Refunds?

    Please email info(at)doublestereo.com within 24 hours from your time of order to place a cancellation. Please include your name and order ID number. Act quickly for cancelled orders. For orders sent in error, Double Stereo will refund your money in the full amount or correct the order and send it to you at no charge. However, once CD's have been opened or merchandise is used, we will not accept any returns or exchanges. We are not responsible for paying postage for any packages sent back for return.   10. My card was declined, but my credit card statement shows a charge.

    Even if the transaction is declined by the issuing credit card bank, the bank may put a temporary hold on the funds in question. This is not an actual charge and such temporary hold is automatically released by your bank several days later.

  11. Helpful Tips When Ordering

    - For shipping out your order, please make sure your billing address matches the address that appears on your monthly credit card or bank statement. Be sure to check your statement for accuracy.

    - Enter the correct information in the appropriate fields. Leave fields blank if they don't apply to your shipping or billing address. Do not enter "N/A," "Not applicable," "None," "Same," etc.

    - Avoid using accent marks or non-english characters. Our systems cannot process Cyrillic letters, Chinese characters, etc.

    - Do not enter shipping or delivery instructions in any of the address fields.

  12. Unauthorized Charges

    Unless you notify Double Stereo of any discrepancies within thirty (30) days after they first appear on your credit card statement, you agree that they will be deemed accepted by you for all purposes.
