The cool thing is that they have made Disk 2 from In Rainbows available digitally for everyone who didn’t get a chance to purchase the Diskbox. As of right now their digital store has four releases...In Rainbows, Disk 2 from In Rainbows, Jonny Greenwood's soundtrack to the film There Will Be Blood (soundtrack) and Thom Yorke's solo debut The Eraser. We say hooray for Radiohead.

Kanye West is hardly known for his mild manner, but he has matched even his most famous tantrums after civilians dared launch Twitter accounts in his name.
The hip-hop star turned vocoder vocalist hit the caps lock and posted a rant on his website, pointing out that he was far too busy “being creative” to use Twitter and that the micro-blogging site should never have let anyone “tweet” using his name.

Band reveal details behind mystery release. Pixies have confirmed the release of 'Minotaur' after speculation mounted earlier today (April 21) that a new release by the reformed band was imminent.

Long Beach-based Crystal Antlers has, since its inception in 2006, stuck to the do-it-yourself model that punk bands honed in the 1980s. The sextet -- singer and bassist Jonny Bell, guitarists Errol Davis and Andrew King, organist Victor Rodriguez-Guerrero, drummer Kevin Stuart and multi-instrumentalist Damian Edwards (an L.A. cult hero known as "Sexual Chocolate") -- made its own CD packaging, screen-printed its own T-shirts and toured the country constantly.

LOS ANGELES – Hundreds of George Harrison's biggest fans and best friends, including Paul McCartney and Tom Petty, turned out Tuesday to see a posthumous star for the quiet Beatle unveiled during a raucous celebration on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Fellow former Beatle McCartney stood next to Harrison's widow, Olivia, and son, Dhani, as the star was unveiled in front of the landmark Capitol Records building.

Billboard.com - Pearl Jam will play live dates in the U.S. later this year, including the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco Aug. 28-30, Billboard has confirmed. The band has also completed 14 songs for a new album and is working on a film with director Cameron Crowe, guitarist Mike McCready said in a radio interview late last month. McCready told Seattle's "Ron & Don Show" that the band is about halfway finished with its next album, which is being recorded in California with producer Brendan O'Brien.
