/posts/Album Review: Minor Love by Adam Green

Most know Adam Green from his Moldy Peaches association. As put off as I was by that, I still opened his new Minor Love album and gave it a chance. After a handful of solo albums he released post Moldy Peaches, Green finally comes into his own on Minor Love. It was not the album I expected.

/posts/Interview: Mike Hranica of The Devils Wears Prada

The Devil Wears Prada had the biggest year of their young lives and career in 2009. They capped their year off with the prestigoius "Band of the Year" award from Alternative Press, outshining acts like fan favorites Paramore and every other Warped Tour headliner. Is it the power of Christ? Or is it the fact they took live metalcore, secular and non, to a whole other level? Maybe it is perhaps they have legions of loyal followers who are also "followers". Being on the main stage at Warped Tour 2009 didn't hurt either.

Today marks the official release of Vampire Weekend's long awaited 2nd album, Contra. Okay, so it has not been that long since their self titled debut. For current Vampire Weekend fans, and all indie fans for that matter, Contra couldn't have come out fast enough.

/posts/Interview: Get to know Lights Resolve in 2010

In March of 2009, Double Stereo launched with a SXSW showcase at Tiniest Bar in Texas, which really isn’t so tiny to be honest. Converting from the old cdFuse.com site, Double Stereo garnered quite the buzz early with great acts and enthusiastic crowds. One of the many bands we had performing was Lights Resolve out of New York.
